Grace started her career in Local Government with the Transport & Development Planning Team at Kent County Council before joining Hume Planning Consultancy as a Town Planner in January 2018.

Grace completed her Master’s degree in Urban Planning & Resilience in Autumn 2020, with a dissertation focused on green infrastructure and climate resilience in planning policies across Kent.

Grace both leads and contributes to the preparation, submission, and negotiation of a variety of planning applications and works closely with clients in seeking to progress projects towards a positive resolution. Recent projects Grace has been involved with include an approval for 466 dwellings at Iwade in Swale which included an extensive country park and a new village hall for the community. Grace has also secured approval for a long-term educational expansion of facilities in Bromley, sited within the Metropolitan Open Space, which required a detailed educational needs case, and the resolution of a number of technical issues, which she coordinated.  Grace has also worked on several community projects and has recently secured permission for a regeneration project in Ramsgate that will serve as a community hub.
