The benefits of effective engagement include strengthening the evidence base for planning decisions, encouraging partnership working and helping to identify problems early on, and allowing issues to be dealt with at an early stage.

Through this dedicated consultation page, Hume Planning Consultancy are able to publish consultation material for larger, more complex, or community-focused projects and invite feedback to the project team on the proposals prior to submission or during a planning application.

This provides members of the local community with an opportunity to directly influence proposals where appropriate and gain a deeper understanding of the planning background, design choices, and technical inputs that have informed the development of a site.
